Spring into Downtown

a shop small event

The Downtown Association of Yakima (DAY) and Pacific Power are excited to announce Spring into Downtown – a Small Business Saturday event taking place on May 15, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. This promotion will feature a record 47 businesses! After the successful fall Small Business Saturday event that saw an increase in patron participation of 400%, Downtown Yakima businesses requested a spring version of the event, and DAY is more than happy to oblige.

DAY is super appreciative of presenting sponsor Pacific Power who also sponsored the November promotion. “This has been a very challenging year for small businesses downtown. That means that this event is more important than ever as it showcases small, local businesses as leading our area’s return to business as usual,” said Toni Petty, regional business manager for Pacific Power. “Small businesses fuel our growth and give a community its character. Pacific Power stands behind that 100 percent.”
