Featured Business: Whimsical Details
For Tiffany Hein, her business Whimsical Details is a dream come true.
She opened August 14, 2021, in downtown Yakima because it’s close to where she lives, and she has enjoyed getting to know the community.
“The thing I enjoy most is having my dream come true,” Hein said. “I dreamt of owning a boutique and now it’s real.” Hein said.
Eighteen years ago, Hein was painting her daughter’s bedroom and a friend stopped by. “She looked at the room and said, ‘oh my gosh! this room is so whimsical. That’s it! That’s the name of your business!’ ”
Prior to opening the boutique downtown, Hein ran Whimsical Details as a pop-up boutique for twelve years all over Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, Colorado, and Wyoming.
Whimsical Details offers a variety of repurposed furniture, handmade jewelry, and children’s clothing.
“A majority of what is in the store is handcrafted by me or by my husband,” she said.
