Under the Valley Film Festival 2023

The First Annual Under the Valley Film Festival will Showcase the Best Cinematic Submissions.

The first annual Under the Valley Film Festival, created by Chris Nobbs and co-directed by Tim Kilgren and Michael Jamal Mitchell.

Submissions for 23 are closed but 2024 will open soon. Accepting booths for Artist, to be featured in the art gala, with industry representatives from Rising Reels discussing making it in the film industry and after our films, an industry mixer! This is a night you do not want to miss!

The film festival’s purpose is to establish a truly consistent entertainment hub for aspiring and established filmmakers to network and learn how to navigate within the entertainment industry. Additionally, the festival will inspire the evolution of film standards for local, regional, and international filmmakers. This is a radically inclusive event. Any opinions which disparage any protected class will not be welcome. All viewpoints, other than hate, are invited.

A committee based on entertainment industry veterans will be a part of the selection process, reviewing all content, and announcing the winners of the Under the Valley Film Festival. The 2023 award winners will receive cash prizes, and scholarships will be established to distribute to the education of local creative students. The awards, both cash and non, will honor the Best Documentary, Best Short Film, Best Feature Film, Best New Experience, Audience Choice, Best Music Video, Best Short and Feature Director, Best Leading Actor and Actress, Best Cinematography, Best Score.
