In 2005, DJ Meteora was a fixture at J.R. Rockers at Pope Air Force Base in Fayetteville, North Carolina. However, they decided to focus on other endeavors and decided to quit DJing altogether. With the exception of spending a few years at KCWU -- 88.1 The Burg spinning vinyl on the radio waves and working as the music director for the online radio station, They have not done any live DJ events in almost two decades. Now going as DJ Xander Ramone from their time at KCWU hosting the late-night radio show VNYLDEN, they will be spinning a mix of EDM, the 90s, Current Pop Favorites, 80s New Wave, and Alt-rock every Thursday night in The Bistro. If you were a fan of VNYLDEN Radio on The Burg, this is the next best thing -- minus the snarky humor.
