Like many musicians with roots in the Yakima Valley, Logan Strosahl has made a name for himself nationally and internationally with 5 well-reviewed CD releases on the Sunnyside jazz label, including his latest release: Book2 of Arthur: Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. By co-incidence, his long-time piano collaborator, Nick Sanders also releasied a solo album on Sunnyside, "Phantoms of Memory." So this seemed like a perfect time to schedule a concert at The Seasons featuring the amazing duo, who lit up The Seasons last year with a wide ranging concert that started with a Haydn Sonata/Carla Bley mashup, dipped into Gershwin and Mingus, and especially Thelonious Monk, and end with Messaen's Vingt Regards de l-Enfant Jesus.
