Built in 1917, The Seasons Performance Hall is a repurposed Christian Science Church and home to The Seasons, a non-profit organization founded by the Strosahl Family in 2005.
Director Pat Strosahl now oversees the venue. “We opened to help the downtown economy and scene with live music and entertainment.” Since then, The Seasons has become "Yakima's second living room", presenting live music on a weekly basis. And to the joy of its visitors and patrons, the Gallery Bistro (just behind the performance hall) joins music, food, drink, and art. Be sure to check it out Thursday through Saturday, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. They have a new happy hour special at 5 p.m. -- $4 craft beers and half off appetizers!
The historic Seasons is not only beautiful; it also has impeccable acoustics. And Pat should know. He had the vision in the early 2000s, believing that a one-time church could be reborn as a music hall. Thankfully for Yakima, the facility was purchased outright by the Strosahl family in 2009. When asked what he loves most about his business, Strosahl quickly replied, “I love listening to live music by amazing artists in a huge variety of genres.”
