In the last few years, Downtown Yakima has become a vibrant center for events and activities that appeal to a wide range of audiences. The lineup of events for 2016 will be one of the busiest yet and will highlight the cultural diversity that the Central Washington region is known for. Cruise the AVE, 4 dedicated cruise nights over the summer; June 11th, July 9th, August 13th, and September 10th
Yakima’s Farmers Market, every Sunday from May through October from 9 AM to 2 PM on 3rd Street in downtown Yakima
Downtown Summer Nights, every Thursday night starting June 16th and ending on August 18th on Historic North Front Street in downtown. Music starts at 6 PM and ends at 9 PM.
Ron Bonlender Memorial Car Show, Cruise the Ave, and Marble Tournament, Saturday, June 18th
Yakima Uncorked Food and Wine Festival, Saturday, June 25th from 5 to 10 PM. Enjoy local wine and food on 3rd Street in downtown Yakima.
Viva La Musica Summer Concert Series every Sunday evening from July 17th through August 21st enjoy free family friendly concerts in Miller park
La Casa Hogars Back to School Community Fiesta is Saturday, August 6th on Naches AVE in front of the Seasons Performance Hall
Hot Shots 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament basketball takes over the streets of downtown in this 3 on 3 tournament at the end of August.
Playdate Fall Festival free family fun on 3rd Street in downtown Yakima on Saturday, September 10th. Live entertainment and more at this outdoor festival for kids.
